My degree, from Central-St Martin's School of Art in London, was in Textiles (fashion & furnishing). I worked as a textile designer for 10 years, predominantly for print, but also weave and knitwear. Most of these designs here were painted in Gouache on paper. Some images are for ideas-generation before being developed commercially into a range. Some had thousands of metres printed.
When I was a designer we still did everything by hand with rulers and tracing paper. I was a colourway artist and an agent representing other designers too, in Australia. I taught textile design to degree level. Some of these pieces are available to buy. Ask me.
