“ Anna worked with us at the Calthorpe Community Garden, adapting her art and illustration skills to running stencilling workshops for the community as part of an upcycling-themed programme. She guided us in making all the signage for the site and taught people skills they could use at home. Anna was great to work with, very professional and well prepared. She made sure the finished products looked great.
Anna also created several digital animations for our crowdfunding campaign at very short notice and for very reasonable rates. They really lifted the quality and presentation of the video and many people commented on how well done it was. Thanks Anna for your talent, hard work and enthusiasm. We couldn't have done it without you! "

“Anna Winstanley has been more than an amanuensis as she has been helping me for nearly 2 years with my creative projects and workshops. Anna is great at helping me organise my thoughts and ideas into something coherent and effective and complete. Anna is creative, knowledgeable and an unusual thinker; does great research and is focused and good at helping me be organised, more creative and more productive, enabling me to actually get my workshops, articles, blogs and other projects done, which is absolutely valuable for me and I wouldn’t be able to do this without her help.”

Anna brought energy, flair, ingenuity and success to The Cockpit's programme of childrens events: shows by established companies as well as arts and crafts activities by Anna. She grew our participant group, audience and reputation by a factor of 10. A generation of kids got top quality arts and entertainment experiences through Anna - who also helped hugely to raise the money to do the work. Anna is the gold standard and the best networker you'll ever meet.

I first worked with Anna in 2019 as part of an art and education project across a range of educational and community sites in Camden – the Sense & Memory Project. This was a collaborative event, where we together developed a project focusing on the sense of smell, working with artists, teachers, young and older community members, and community workers.
One element of the Sense&Memory project was often the uncertainty of engagement - classes and groups ranged from 4 people to over 60, Anna was happy and unfazed working in this way, as well as being supportive of colleagues. Anna is fun to work with and a reliable collaborator. She has more recently joined the CSKX Board of Trustees, where she’s currently using her knowledge at this time to help advise on future CSKX projects.
