What does one do after decades of textile designing and freelance art-adventures with incorrigible curiosity and a creative mind that enjoys new crafts? Learn to Teach of course. So I did. In New Zealand. Pre-school and high school - Art, Design & Health.
I had children; learned about children; love children. Worked in schools; branched into museums and community-arts; studied play & pleasure-gardens. Back to London. Wanted adults to find their inner-child and parent better. Worked at Royal Botanic Gardens Kew and The Garden Classroom, teaching environmental education; mission to support people to connect with nature, improving wellbeing and leading to increased respect for the natural world. I coordinated children & family theatre and co-ran a community nature festival in central London. Always self-employed, hand to mouth.
Floored by illness. Studied counselling, psycho-sexual health, NLP, environmental arts-therapy, tarot and archetypes.
Life has led me now to therapeutic arts and narrative medicine - working with arts and personal stories for wellbeing.
