Graphic Medicine is a field that explores and supports the interaction between the medium of comics, art and the discourse of healthcare. I'm involved with Arts on Prescription, Arts for Health, Sex & Disability and Graphic Medicine communities and part of a community of academics, health-carers, authors, artists and fans of graphic novels & comics.

I have a diploma certificate in Psycho-Sexual Health, Counselling (Level 3 - Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body).

Environmental Arts-therapy and various other related professional developments and supervision equip me with effective frameworks to deliver therapeutic sessions safely. I am not an accredited art therapist. (CV in my 'About' section for details).

I have a chronic health condition which gives me some lived-experience perspective and empathy.

My final project when studying the diploma of psycho-sexual health was designing an adult playground. I have explored the history of pleasure gardens, tantra, fetish, sex and disability accordingly.  I worked as an amanuensis for two disabled clients between 2020-2022.

Environmental Arts Therapy is the therapeutic use of natural materials, natural locations, natural themes, natural cycles and connection to changing seasons, nature stories and nature traditions.

My art works are works of fiction and not intended unless otherwise indicated, as an accurate portrayal of events, facts, or real people. Illustrations do not pertain to or represent any individuals or realms of work and are purely characterisations drawn for the purpose of exploring alternate realities and ideas. The artworks are in no way intended to defame, trivialise or misrepresent. All the names, characters, costumes, corporations, businesses, places, events and incidents in these artworks are either the product of the author's or clients imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.
